Trademark Kennels

Meet the breeder

I'm Vera S., the breeder behind Trademark Kennels located in Fredericksburg, VA. Many of our puppies have become exceptional show dogs, and all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends. We are dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our pups. We love what we do and truly want nothing more than to see each and every one of our puppies shine!

Q. & A. with Vera

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding because of my family having raised German Shepherds. The experience and love was instilled at a young age and now I’m continuing on the legacy my family started.
  • What makes your program special?

My passion is raising puppies and ensuring that they have a wonderful start in their lives. I ensure that every set of parents has full health testing and make exceptional representatives for the breed and meet my high standards of excellent temperaments, health and beauty. And to go further we are constantly showing our dogs in AKC sports and encouraging new owners with the breed and mentorship.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

German Shepherd puppies have plush coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies are red tri-color. German Shepherd puppies include black and tan, black and red, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
