I'm Marilyn S., the breeder behind Treasure Isle Silks located in Virginia Beach, VA. We are a rare breed club. Our focus is on the health and longevity of this breed as well as raising well-adjusted companions. We are located at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. We overlook the island where, legend says, Blackbeard hid and watched while waiting for ships to enter the bay. He would then sail out to ambush them. It is this history and connection to the pirates that sailed the Caribbean seas that led us to our kennel name.
