Trinity Yorkshire Terriers

Cindy R.

Breeder of Yorkshire Terriers

Meet the breeder

I'm Cindy R., the breeder behind Trinity Yorkshire Terriers located in Sumner, IL. My Yorkies are bred for health and temperament to the standard. I strongly believe that all breeders should test for known health issues in their breed. I have been showing and breeding quality Yorkshire Terriers since 2003. I have finished four of my Yorkies since then, and one of them even won a prestigious title in 2005! I am an avid member of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and America Kennel Club (AKC). I look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Cindy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after working with my first show dog, who I finished myself. 2005 in NYC the weekend of the YTCA (Yorkshire Terrier Club of America), I won Best of Breed over 145 dogs from around the world. My dog finished #4 that year. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed to the AKC standard. My goal is to improve on each litter I produce. My bloodlines are prestigious inside and outside of the show ring. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I want to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I want nothing more than to see each and every one of my dogs shine! It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
