I'm Anna C., the breeder behind Triple Ridge Labs located in Brooksville, KY. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families.
Q. & A. with Anna
Why did you start breeding?
In the early 1990's I got my first lab and fell in love. We had a few litters of puppies with her and then decided I did not have the time or resources to devote to doing things the right way. I have owned 4 labs since - each one was better than the last. I am expecting my first litter in over 25 years in late 2021 and I can't wait!
What makes your program special?
My breeding is special because I am a small program and concentrating on bettering the breed. I do genetic and health testing - I'm not just breeding dogs, I'm interested in producing family friends. I have the time to devote to my dogs and puppies that it takes to make them special.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Triple Ridge Labs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Labrador Retrievers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
