Why did you start breeding?
I love this breed because they are smart, loyal, and great companions for both children and adults. I breed high-quality dogs for Conformation, Agility, Obedience, and Companionship purposes. As a breeder, I aim to produce Shelties that closely adhere to the breed standard. When I sell a puppy to a family or individual, they become part of my extended family. Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Profile, Dermatomyositis
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
