I'm Cora F., the breeder behind Trouvae Labradors located in Morrow, OH. We strive to preserve the legacy of the breed for generations to come. I primarily participate in conformation events, but also enjoy various performance sports. Puppies are raised in our home with a focus on establishing a solid socialization foundation to become a wonderful family companion.

Why did you start breeding?
I began showing Shetland Sheepdogs in obedience, AKC Junior Showmanship and Confirmation. In my adulthood, we introduced a Labrador Retriever into our family and have never looked back. After many years of working as an assistant to a breeder/handler of Shelties and later traveling with breeder mentors in Labradors, I established my own breeding program.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Vaeda
Vaeda is a female Labrador Retriever over 6 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Cora decided to make her part of their program. Cora has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
