I'm Jess W., the breeder behind Trust in the Lord Labradors located in Marietta, SC. The kids squeal with joy and the puppy is equally as happy to meet its new family. It is so fulfilling and humbling when a family chooses one of our babies to be theirs! My husband and I pray over each puppy that God would bless that family as it raises that sweet pup.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After having my own, I knew this was the breed for me. They are loyal and loving in a family and so amazing with children. I wanted to have AKC registered purebred English Labrador Retrievers. 🐾The English Labrador is kind, sweet, gentle, energetic, and makes you smile every day!

  • What makes your program special?

    I have the privilege of breeding my own AKC registered championship bloodline litters, and it is an absolute joy to raise and rear these beautiful English Labradors Retrievers. I want to provide families with their “furever” friend! A quality puppy with an incredible temperament and relaxed demeanor.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jess

Jess has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jess partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies will go home when they are 7-8 weeks old. Pick of the litter is determined by order of deposits received. Contact us today to place your deposit.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,350 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We offer a 3 year health guarantee on all our puppies. Will be health checked by third party vet at 7 weeks. All age appropriate shots will be given and microchips. Puppies dewormed every two weeks. This reserves your puppy just for you and assigns the puppy to you as the new puppy parents.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jess may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Jessica responded immediately when we reached out to her about Banana, and after making sure this was the right home for him and he was the right dog for us, Jess stayed in touch with us and gave us weekly updates on our puppy and his litter. She was very knowledgeable about the breed and how to care for growing dogs. Since we lived relatively nearby, we opted to go and meet Jess to pick up our boy. Jess was very well prepared with all the requisite paperwork, some tips about his habits, and a toy and a blanket for our puppy.
