Our breeding pair, Sadie and Sturgill, are family pets who live their days carefree and happy while napping on the couch or playing in the yard or, of course, being snuggled and spoiled by us.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for collies dates back as far as I can remember- once you have one, your life is changed! Though, collies have become a rarity in my area, and surrounding areas as well. I hope to see this change in the coming years and to see more gentle and beautiful giants in the future!What makes your program special?
We maintain contact throughout the entire lives of our pups, always here as a resource as needed, and truly care. Both parents live in home, and are family pets FIRST. Sadie and Sturgill have been well trained to respect our home, as they have free rein of the house and yard as they please. They, all puppies whelped, have had amazing temperament with children young and old, and all other pets!What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable merle, black white and tan, sable, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Price includes holding deposit, vaccination by age, deworming, AKC registration, pedigree, health records, and of course a blanket smelling of us and mother- for an easier transition. All of our puppies are priced the same per coat color, but are sold at pet price unless discussed and approved further. Holding deposits are non-refundable but do come off from the total price.”

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Dermatomyositis, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
