I'm Alice L., the breeder behind Tuckwet Labradors located in Joshua Tree, CA. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve always loved Labradors and wanted to breed them to the standard and fix what bothered me in the looks in the bloodlines.What makes your program special?
I breed for the best I can do for the breed and for families that they go to. I focus on temperament, health and exceptional conformation in my dogs. I am always here for you if you have questions or need help with something.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Alice
Alice has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
"The price includes the AKC type of registration, the health guarantee. One Parvo and one 5way shot by eight weeks, worming and appropriate parasite control, AKC microchip reunite, health clearances on the parents. The puppies are raised in heated and air conditioned housing, l sleep with them. The are on a farm so are only used to the noise from big trucks and people and the Television, which they do watch. They are dog door trained to go outside in a fully enclosed wire kennel with cement and sawdust until they can go into an adjoining larger area. They can play on the lawn. They are started on different fruits and vegetables at around 6 weeks. If the puppy has a defect or passes away, is not born the deposit will be refunded."

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
