Meet the breeder

I'm Angela L., the breeder behind TurkeyCreek-K9 located in Hudson, IN. We're a family of Doodle enthusiasts. We strive to raise healthy, happy, well-loved pups from health-tested parents from our gorgeous homestead. Our program is built with love from the ground up. We care deeply about responsible breeding, and we do everything we can to ensure our dogs and puppies are getting the best care in every aspect of their lives with us. We put in a huge amount of work in order to make that happen, and we are proud of what we've accomplished with our program! ***Please note: For the safety and protection of our children, our puppies, and our other dogs, we are not permitting any home visits at this time. We know it's exciting and you are anxious to meet your new puppy, so we are always happy to schedule a video session or FaceTime call to see and meet the puppies live and in action! Thank you for understanding!

Q. & A. with Angela

  • Why did you start breeding?

We love this breed! Our dogs have brought us so much love and happiness that we decided to start our own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. We believe strongly in health testing, genetics, and beauty, and the quality of our puppies reflects the conscious decisions we make throughout every part of the breeding process. We look forward to connecting you with one of these incredible dogs!
  • What makes your program special?

We take responsible breeding very seriously, so we are careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization. Because our program is small, we are able to give each dog and puppy all of the attention and care that they need to develop and thrive. Our dogs are our family, and we give that same love to each puppy, and we have a daily curriculum to build confident and empowered puppies, as we prepare them to join their forever homes!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are black rust and white. Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black and white, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Ángela at Turkey Creek K9 was so great through the whole process. She made me feel like I knew what I was doing. I’m a first time dog owner and she gave me the right advice. The process of adoption from her was flawless! My family and I absolutely love our puppy! His name is Boone (formally known as Caramel Latte) he is the sweetest and most well behaved puppy we could have asked for. Out little Boone is well adapted to our family now and is loving life. Thank you, Angela!

Angela was fantastic to work with. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a new puppy. You can tell how much she loves her puppies which is so appreciated. She has been very helpful throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions right away. I just adore Reese to pieces. He’s been such a joy to have around. We love him SO much. Thank you, Angela!

I’ve had just the best experience working with Angela. Throughout the puppy adoption process, she was knowledgeable, available, responsive, and completely attentive and sympathetic to my family’s unique needs (elderly people with mobility problems), and in the end we have a puppy who could not have been a better fit for my family. All of us are very happy with him. He’s just the best boy. I’m so thankful for the time and care Angela and her family give to all their dogs. It truly shines through.

Angela was amazing to work with. I recommend her 1000 percent. She was responsive immediately or within 10 minutes. I was able to video chat with Bailey and her and she answered all of my questions quickly. This was an amazing experience all around and Bailey is such a luvbug, I couldn't have got a more loveable goldendoodle anywhere.

Absolutely love Angela and TurkeyCreek k9. After losing my beloved 14 year old doodle - it took some time but I did a lot of research into reputable breeders that not only genetically test but do it for the love of dogs. Angela was exactly who I was looking for. Her love and care for the mom/dad was foremost to me - and then of course - the love for the puppies. We love our Maggie - she is happy - healthy and came to our home well socialized. Angela answered every question I had - and there were a lot - she was always accessible. She sent lots of videos as well and not only ensured Maggie was right for us but that we were right for Maggie. I love sending updates and photos. Highly highly highly recommend.
