I'm Misty T., the breeder behind Turner’s Delightful Dachshund Farm & German Short Hair Pointers located in Sylvania, AL. Our pups are raised here at our home. Parents are on site and are a part of our family. I enjoy meeting our buyers and making life long friends. I like to keep in touch with our puppy parents and see how our pups grow up.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We started out with one mini dachshund and fell in love with the breed. Our family has now grown to 4 babies. I wanted to share the joy of the breed. Dachshunds are entertaining, energetic, and have huge personalities. There is never a dull moment with the love of a dachshund.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small operation, and are able to devote much time to our program and raising your puppy from birth to going home day. I take pride in caring and loving your baby.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. German Shorthaired Pointer puppies are liver roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Misty

Misty has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Misty partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“*** Dolly’s litters are PET ONLY no papers. The other litters are sold with registration. The total price includes FULL RIGHTS CKC puppy application, 3 generation bloodline pedigree, vet health check visit and paper, 1st shot, and wormed. A starter bag is given with puppies supplies. Kelly’s German short hair pointers are full AKC rights. Prices vary depending on color. All deposits are $300 and come off of the total puppy price. Deposits are non-refundable.”

    Just wanted to brag about this wonderful Dacshund farm. These people are amazing. I have been so blessed to have found them in my search for our new family member. I should say baby because our pets are our babies. Misty was so wonderful to work with and what a pleasure our experience was. She kept me up to date every step of the way while our little Sasha was growing. I received weekly and sometimes more updates from vet visits,weight,pictures and cute videos along the way.
