I picked up Chablis on Thursday May 22. At first he didn't know what was happening but he settled in very calmly. The next morning he was actually wagging his tail to see me although I had let him sleep with me in my bed. Then we went for our first walks. He did quite well on the leash and found the perfect area to relieve himself. But he was kind of scared of stairs. So I made it my priority to go out as often as possible to try walking stairs. He also was getting better to ride the elevator. Since I got him he made big progress in every way. Feeling good amongst a lot of other dogs in the building. I am very happy and have the feeling he is happy too. Thank you Lois for keeping him for me a little longer since I couldn't take him home right away. Your advice was very helpful and I appreciate you very much! Thanks again! Gabi
