Meet the breeder

I'm Andrea B., the breeder behind Tx Pups located in Poolville, TX. Although we primarily raise Doberman Pinschers, we also love our Mal-Shi puppies! We own 4 Doberman adults and 1 MalShi adult. We strive to raise dogs of utmost quality and temperament & it is truly a passion of ours. Our dogs are part of the family and are well socialized, confident dogs.

Q. & A. with Andrea

  • Why did you start breeding?

My mother has always raised Poodles and Poodle hybrids and she helped me start my breeding program whenever I was just a teenager, and I have continued breeding all these years. It has truly been a passion of mine, and I am blessed to be able to work from home, raising Dobermans (and kiddos! 😉). I am thankful that I am able to devote so much time and energy into my breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

I am blessed to be able to work full-time raising dogs (it is a full time job!) and I do not work outside the home. I am a small breeder which means I am able to devote plenty of love and attention to my dogs and puppies. I also have six years of experience as a nurse at a veterinary clinic which has been very beneficial to me in raising dogs. Our dogs all reside in our home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Doberman Pinscher puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Andrea

Andrea has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Andrea partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Based off of the order of being placed on the waiting list, buyers choose their puppies themselves. We give input and any distinctions between puppies, but the ultimate decision is the buyers. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Our Dobermans are $2800-$3000 for females and $3000-$3200 for males. Our Mal-Shi puppies are $1500 for males and $1800 for females. All puppies go home current on their dewormings and vaccines. A $500 deposit reserves a position on my collective waiting list. Once the puppies are born and are 1 week old, a 2nd payment is due, and the final balance is due at pick up.”

We have been blessed beyond measure by our precious Daisy. My husband says he didn’t know he could love a dog so much. Daisy is so sweet and loves everybody- and everybody loves her! Andrea was fabulous in helping me adopt the perfect dog for us. My grandchildren beg us to bring her when we visit them. She’s healthy, good natured and beautiful. And great with the kids! Her coat is so soft and attracts attention from everyone. Andrea has been responsive and has followed up to check on Daisy. We couldn’t be happier!

Andrea has been a delight to work with! We chose our little guy early and Andrea kept us informed on his progress, updated us on vet visits, answered every question and posted pictures often. You can tell she is a caring and professional breeder. Benji is very well socialized, he definitely was played with and loved on! There were no issues with him getting adjusted to a new environment. We loved getting to know this sweet adorable family and are so thankful to have this precious little pup in our family. We highly recommend Andrea and Tx Pups!
