Meet the breeder

I'm Cyndi W., the breeder behind U Cross Australian Shepherds located in Fort Myers, FL. Our dogs are best suited for people with an active lifestyle who are looking for a highly trainable dog to take on outdoor adventures. We take ours to help us load cattle, or as companions at horse shows and rodeos.

Q. & A. with Cyndi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always occasionally bred an exceptional dog, when friends needed a good working dog. Now I have decided to offer my litters to the public.
  • What makes your program special?

It’s very small, I have two females and one male, but I only breed one of the females. My dogs are working dogs and companions first, and breeding dogs second. I have a very close relationship with each of them.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Dealing with Cyndi was a pleasure. From the first contact we had on Gooddog she was always prompt and informative. It was fun looking forward to each weekend, when we knew Cyndi would post pictures of our Australian Shepherd. Our pickup date was up in the air, but Cyndi was completely flexible and understanding. When the delivery date finally arrived Cyndi was clear on the details of where and when to meet. Upon delivery Cyndi had everything we needed for our Vet and now Biskit is a full member of our family.

Cyndi is absolutely amazing! She is always so responsive, provides weekly updates, and you can tell how much care she puts into raising healthy, happy puppies. We couldn’t be happier with our puppy and our experience with Cyndi, and if we ever want to add another member to our family, we would definitely buy from her again! ❤️

I had such a great experience with Cyndi and her program! I picked out my boy Knox at about a week or 2 old. Cyndi made sure I was fully informed throughout the entire process and regularly updated me with photos and messages. I very much looked forward to those regular updates! Cyndi made the process so easy and exciting. As for Knox, he is truly a light in my life. After losing my old dog from cancer earlier in the year, I was hesitant to take on the commitment of a new puppy. That hesitation turned out to be unfounded though, as Knox fills every day with immense joy. He is the smartest, happiest, silliest puppy I've ever met. Cyndi clearly puts a lot of thought into her breeding for not only visually beautiful dogs but ones with great temperament. Her early desensitization training has done wonders for Knox. In the short time I've had him, many people have commented on how calm and confident he is. I cannot thank Cyndi enough, I love this little dog so much. I appreciate you so much, Cyndi!
