I'm Lindsay B., the breeder behind Udder Chaos Ranch located in Ocala, FL. As long time Aussie Enthusiasts… We are a small hobby breeder preserving this versatile and wonderful breed of dog. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.
All of our dogs are our family pets and will have a very limited number of litters.
One thing that is very important to me is that all of my breeding stock are family pets first and foremost. They do not get thrown out once they are no longer used for breeding and they retire with us.
The second most important part of my programs is that all of my dogs have fantastic temperaments: friendly and easily socialized while still having medium drive and herding instincts.
My dogs are only kenneled in our outdoor kennel when no one is home. Otherwise they are inside or outside roaming the farm. My dogs sleep in bed with me and are truly part of my family.
My puppies spend the first few weeks of their life inside my home and then go outside in the barn during the day for outdoor exposure but spend every night in my home. The puppies are handled multiple times a day and given lots of attention. They all are exposed to various people, livestock and children before leaving.
Q. & A. with Lindsay
Why did you start breeding?
We are a family farm and have been into animal husbandry for a few years- mostly with horses and livestock.
What makes your program special?
We have always been enthusiasts for Australian Shepherds and decided we wanted to breed healthy companions that excel in a wide variety of homes. All of our dogs have great temperaments as a number one priority. We aim to breed Aussies that while still having moderate energy and drive, are friendly and able to assimilate into family home environments easier. We evaluate each puppy individually before placing them into their homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
