I'm Rhonda C., the breeder behind Una Palma Kennels located in Plumas County, CA. I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on its family. I focus on breeding healthy dogs with gentle nature and natural working ability. My dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. I prepare all of my pups to excel in life.
Q. & A. with Rhonda
Why did you start breeding?
Growing up on a farm and competing in rodeo, I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. I've fallen in love with my dogs and I wanted to give back to the breed by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes.
What makes your program special?
I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In my breeding program, I focus on conformation and personality. I'm thoughtful in my breeding pair to be sure I'm producing puppies that are gentle in nature, natural working dogs, have an instinct for water sports, retrieving, and hunting ability. I hope to help you find the perfect companion!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
