Meet the breeder

I'm Scherezade C., the breeder behind Upstate Revival Retrievers located in Simpsonville, SC. We are dedicated to always providing our families and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and placing our puppies. This includes health testing practices and all our parents have all OFA tests and several titles before officially becoming a part of our program.

Q. & A. with Scherezade

  • Why did you start breeding?

Myself and Kaileigh have been around animals of all types and breeds our entire lives. Golden Retrievers are truly our soul dogs and we have absolutely fallen in love with them. From being excellent family dogs, to being fabulous sport dogs, and companions. Goldens have it all and we have dedicated ourselves to raising well rounded loving puppies right here in our home! When you pick up one of our puppies you’ll instantly fall in love!
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program strives to better the breed. We focus on research and pairing excellent dogs together to bring out specific traits and other characteristics in a litter. All pups are temperament tested, receive ENS/ESI, see our vets, and get microchipped before going home. We are here all day every day to help you be successful. Several of our pups come to us for daycare and boarding and there is absolutely nothing that we will not help you with. When you join Upstate Revival you really do join our family!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
