Meet the breeder

I'm Libby V., the breeder behind Van Huitt Australian Shepherds located in Sultan, WA. We focus on the lifelong commitment that our puppies represent. This is why all of our Puppies come Microchipped and why we ask to stay on there microchip as a back up emergency contact.

Q. & A. with Libby

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up watching my grandmother breed and raise rottweilers, and then when I met my first Australian Shepherd I knew that someday I would have one. I researched them and saved up for several years before I picked the first female for my program and she is more amazing than I have words to say.
  • What makes your program special?

We raise our puppies with love and dedication. They are a part of our family, so that they can complete your family.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Libby was fantastic to work with! She responded quickly and you can tell she really cares about each one of her pups! My sweet boy, Floki (formerly Clyde), has been adjusting well to his new forever home. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new fur baby.
