I'm Bethani V., the breeder behind Vaubel Country Pugs located in Delray, WV. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have this incredible love for all dogs and especially my pugs.

  • What makes your program special?

    I feel my program is special because my pugs are my family. I have Chessie, the momma, Gilbert, the daddy and Sullie, who is my first pug and is fixed.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Bethani

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We waited 4 years since our last Pug passed...and we found Bethani and beautiful Heron. Our experience with Bethani was amazing!     10/10 HIGHLY recommended! Our experience with Vaubel Country Pugs was awesome. We adopted our sweet little 8 week old pug puppy (Yukon Cornelius) from Bethani back in January. Bethani is FANTASTIC, as are her dogs. You can tell how deeply loved and well-cared for her animals are. She is friendly, polite, kind, genuine, down-to-earth, responsible, responsive, and highly organized. This was our first time purchasing a puppy online and we were definitely nervous. Upon visiting her and the puppies, however, our nerves quickly faded and our minds were at ease. She patiently answered any questions we had and periodically sent updates/photos as the puppies grew. Rest assured she will take very good care of you and the pups! Yukon is an AMAZING dog! He is now about 4 months old, growing and thriving everyday. He is happy, healthy, playful, loving, adorable, and SO much fun! We love him more than words can properly express. He brings a ton of light, love, and joy to our lives. We are blessed to have him. We would 100% recommend Bethani and her pups to family, friends, and anyone looking for a high quality Pug. Her pups are OUTSTANDING and well worth the price!     We couldn’t be happier with our experience getting our pug puppy, Bagel, from Bethani! Bagel has been the sweetest addition to our family—he settled in quickly and has been such a loving, playful companion from the start. Bethany made the entire process smooth and reassuring. From the beginning, she was a fantastic communicator. She arranged a FaceTime call so we could meet the available puppies, and once we chose Bagel, she sent regular updates and adorable photos that made the wait so exciting. We especially appreciated her thoughtful touches—she started calling him by the name we had chosen so he could begin to recognize it early on. Bethani also went out of her way to meet us for the puppy drop-off, which was incredibly helpful given the distance. Bagel came to us happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for, and it’s obvious he was raised with a lot of love.
