I'm Dakota V., the breeder behind Vaught Family Farm located in Christiana, TN. We are excited to pass on the best qualities of our dogs to you. We breed with the goal to produce sound, well socialized, loyal companions for your family!

Why did you start breeding?
Dakota raised labs with his parents and basset hounds with his grandma. It was a big part of his childhood and he always wanted the experience for our family. And I’m all about puppies and memories!!
What makes your program special?
We are a small family operation and pay very close attention to our animals! There is always someone home or close by to make sure everything is running smoothly. We value the well being and attitude of our dogs and see it as a true privilege to help other families achieve the same. We dedicate early mornings and late nights and the in between- and we’re having a great time!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Dakota

Dakota has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Dakota partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies will be matched based on families commitment to care for the breed specific needs of the dog as well as the ability to meet financial responsibility and time required of raising a puppy.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes AKC limited registration, a vet check, all vaccines needed up until they come into your care. All deposits are nonrefundable to ensure our puppies can go to serious families and ensure they make it to their forever home on time- thank you for understanding.”

Contract & health guarantee

Dakota may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Our girl Winnie is just the best farm girl- She is so loyal and has amazing recall. She lets our babies climb all over her and is always on high alert to make sure they are safe. Her favorite place to relax at the end of the day is wherever they are!

About ROOSTER
Rooster is everyone’s good boy! Aside from being one good looking guy, he loves running around the farm! His favorite place to go is grandmas… a common theme around our house… But if we turn on the grill he will be at our feet in 5 minutes! He is great with our kids and visitors love him!
