Q. & A. with Sandra (“Patty”)
Why did you start breeding?
I owned dogs all my life. After marriage our first dogs were two Beagles, who lived until 11 and 12 years of age. Along the road we acquired our first Wirehaired Dachshund and we fell in love with the breed. We wanted to learn more about them and educate ourselves, striving to produce healthy, adaptable, happy puppies.
What makes your program special?
We are not large scale or professional breeders, but occasional ones. We carefully plan our litters.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have wirehaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include wild boar, brindle, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
