Brenda M.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds and Rottweilers

Meet the breeder

I'm Brenda M., the breeder behind VomMohr Kennels located in Edinburg, PA. I breed for myself and put heavy emphasis on conformation and dog sports. My dogs have a minimum of Hips, Elbows, Eyes & Heart certifications whether they are to be bred or not and have a wide variety of titles including Conformation Championships, Dock Diving, CGC, Farm Dog, Fast Cat and Trick Dog titles to name a few. I encourage doing lots of fun things with your new puppy.

Q. & A. with Brenda

  • Why did you start breeding?

I didn't like the trends people were taking in the rottweiler world. So I bred my own. This is why I say I breed for me.
  • What makes your program special?

I spend a lot of time researching pedigrees and what each dog is producing. I don't just throw dogs together. Both parents are health tested. I am blessed to have very few health issues with my dogs. In the 25-30years I have had dogs, I am rarely at the vet for hereditary issues.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Rottweiler puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
