Anita A.

Breeder of Biewer Terriers

Meet the breeder

I'm Anita A., the breeder behind Von Edelweiss Biewer Terriers located in Carlsbad, CA. As a California Biewer Terrier Breeder, we focus on healthy puppies with level temperaments, superior quality of structure, healthy coat, movement, head, tail set, ear set, straight backs, and a good bite.

Q. & A. with Anita

  • Why did you start breeding?

My goal was to accomplish a life-long dream of showing and finishing a dog to their championship. When I found the Biewer Terrier, I knew this was the breed I'd love to have to live out that dream. Breeding wasn't in the picture at the time. However, as I've come to know the Biewer, I believe I can contribute to the betterment of the breed with purposeful reproduction.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed for temperment, health, and structure, to come as close the the Biewer Terrier Breed standard. I offer puppy culture and want well adjusted puppies who will thrive in their new homes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
