Logan J.

Breeder of Doberman Pinschers

Meet the breeder

I'm Logan J., the breeder behind Von Hohenhalla Dobermans located in Georgia. With almost a decade of experience, we breed with a focus on health and temperament. We focus highly on proper socialization and training to ensure our puppies have a great foundation neurological development.

Q. & A. with Logan

  • Why did you start breeding?

My wife and I met through mentoring a Doberman breeder while we were in college. We fell in love with the Doberman breed as we did with each other. We started our program shortly after our wedding and have continued this passion together. We raise all our breeding dogs from puppyhood and our retired dogs remain in our home. Our goal with breeding is to share our passion for Dobermans with others.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
