I'm Lisa K., the breeder behind Von Struve Australian Shepherds located in Harrison, AR. We do our best to socialize and acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy and well-mannered puppies! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I have bred different types of dogs throughout the years I would do one breed at a time. But we have had Aussies for the last 16 years. We love them so much! Their intelligence, playfulness and work ethic is invaluable.What makes your program special?
My kennel is kept very clean, my puppies are very clean. I may have a bit of OCD some might say. My puppies leave here knowing how to use a doggie door and they use the bathroom outside, which is pretty nice at that young of age.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
