Voneida Collies & Corgis

Retiring soon: Bobo is the perfect, family friendly, gentle and calm Collie. He has been there to help raise my own children who love him very much. Many's the time he made a pillow for their nap or something sturdy to hold on to as they learned to walk. Bobo has herding instincts. Bobo is normal eyed and across the board clear genetically. He has been our main sire for several years now and has produced many wonderful puppies that made their adoptive families very happy. We are blessed to have Bobo .

Retiring soon : Maypop is ever sweet and winsome. Her docile and kind personality is her strong point. Her puppies have gone on to be therapy and service dogs. As well as family pets on farms and in suburban neighborhoods. She has herding instincts. Genetically she is across the board clear. Size is small side of medium. I bred her myself from parents that I owned and also had her mother's grandparents so I know these lines 💝. She is double registered AKC & SCPS . Maypop will be retiring soon.

Retired: Polly is our first Corgi. Either we lucked up or Corgis are just all around awesome. Polly is the best little dog. A true old soul. She loved all five of my children from the very beginning and played vigorously with all. I couldn't say enough good about how she handled interaction with each age level. And yet was always happy to hop up on the couch for a snuggle with mom or dad. She's acted like an adult dog from puppyhood. And caught on to everything we tried to teach her. She is a great indoor and outdoor dog. Has herding instincts as well. DNA is four way clear and five way normal.

Retired : Tad is a very good natured, happy go lucky boy. He enthusiastically helps me control the goats on the farm. He is also happy to lay on the porch for hours. He has strong empathy and when I am down He will crawl up for a hug. Sometimes he notices before I do! He is a CEA carrier but normal eyed. He is across the board clear for everything else. I picked Tad as a puppy from a litter sired by my favorite old fashioned collie. He was the last puppy in his last litter and we were so lucky because I don't know what I would do without Tad . Edit: We lost Tad this past summer to an accident with a horse. His two daughters , Chiming and Sparkle , are carrying on his legacy here at our home.

Cowboy is another good one. We purchased him as an adult, and my five year old immediately named him Cowboy! I was interested to see how he would transition into a big family. He figured out the ropes in just a few days and became an enthusiastic new member. Cowboy loves life on the farm with the children and dotes on me. He diligently obeys. Comes quickly when called, especially when being asked to herd the goats ! Watching him and Polly go after the goats on their short little legs is a hilarious sight indeed. Cowboy is across-the-board clear DNA tested and is a fluffy Carrier. Fluffies are not our goal with our Corgis, but we may be able to produce fluffy. Although CKC registered American Corgi. He is Embark panel tested full-blooded Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We love Cowboy and are so happy to have him a part of the crew ! We are excited to welcome his puppies with Polly, our AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
