Meet the breeder

I'm Angel W., the breeder behind Vuurhart Herders located in Clarksville, TN. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and workability. Our puppies come with BRN numbers, microchipped, deworming, vaccinations, and raised on ENS. We strive to produce stable and versatile working dogs We have puppies from previous litters doing scent work, protection sports, and police work.

Q. & A. with Angel

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was determined to build a breeding program that preserves and enhances the best qualities of the breed, I sought out a mentor, studied pedigrees, and learned how to match bloodlines for the ideal combination of drive, stability, and workability. Every pairing is carefully selected with this in mind- producing dogs capable of excelling in sport, work, and active homes.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs are health-tested, and puppies are raised with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and structured enrichment to develop confidence and resilience from an early age.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Dutch Shepherd puppies include black brindle and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
