I'm Wendy H., the breeder behind W Heart Bar Aussies located in Ulm, MT. My dogs are breed for health and temperament with a focus on confirmation, athleticism and intelligence. I am dedicated to provide families with a wonderful healthy fur baby.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After about two years of thinking about getting another Aussie, (I had one years ago) I decided to get another one. Then, I thought of the idea of breeding. I wanted to share my love for the Australian Shepherd with other families. I looked for good quality dogs with a good pedigree and genetics.

  • What makes your program special?

    I wouldn’t necessarily say my program is special. I just know I wanted to have good pedigree’s and clear genetic panels in my dogs to start with a good foundation for good quality Aussies. I wanted to help improve the breed standards. I wanted to have good confirmation, temperament athletic ability and intelligence.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Wendy

Wendy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Wendy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they’re old enough for us to evaluate their temperament and personalities. Typically this happens around 7-8 weeks of age. Go home age is 10 weeks. "

Price

Puppy prices include a $550 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes AKC registration, first round of vaccination, deworming and socialization. Also included is a vet check before going to their new home. The deposit is the same no matter the coat color, eye color, size or the gender. Includes AKC registration."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
