I'm Johnny W., the breeder behind Walker Ranch Danes & Dachshunds located in Delano, TN. All of our dogs are members of our family and their health and safety are our first priority. All pups are spoiled daily with love and attention. We start early with ENS and pad training. Puppies recieve all age appropriate vaccines, wormings and flea/tick prevention. Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding because of our passion and love of our dogs. We wanted to share the quality of our dogs with other people and earn some income at the same time.
What makes your program special?
We are a small in home breeder that loves and cares for our dogs and puppies.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Johnny
Johnny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“2 yr congenital health guarantee. AKC limited registration (Full registration upon approval for additional fee). Age appropriate Vacc, worm, etc. Deposit holds pup selection until 8 weeks old and available for pick up. Please do not send a deposit until you have been approved and a deposit has been requested.”

health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your
puppy purchase. If Johnny offers a contract

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
