I'm Margie W., the breeder behind Walker's Minidachs located in Woodbine, GA. We adore our dogs! They’ve enriched our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding right after I got married about 52 years ago. I started nursing school became an RN. So I stopped raising puppies for awhile. After I retired 9 years ago I started raising Dachshunds. I enjoy raising them as a hobby.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Margie

Margie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price of the puppy includes the first puppy shots, deworming, vet checkups with health certificate. The puppies range in price according to color, pedigree, etc. Our puppies are AKC. We sell pet only. We do not sell breeding rights."

    Sometimes, the best things in life find you when you’re not even looking. That’s how I found Bruno. I came across his little face on Good Dog, and before I knew it, I was messaging Margie — the wonderful breeder who raised him with so much love and care. From the very first message, I could tell how dedicated Margie was. She answered every question with kindness, shared updates and photos, and made the entire process effortless. When adoption day came, everything went perfectly. Bruno was happy, healthy, freshly groomed, and clearly used to being loved. He came with his little care package, vaccination records, and a tail that never stopped wagging. It was obvious he had been well taken care of — his coat was shiny, his eyes bright, and his sweet personality already so trusting.     Margie was nothing but the best. From the moment we asked about our pup she delivered. We made the deposit and she sent us videos, pictures and shared her knowledge. We got the BEST boy from her. When we picked him up, she shared his mom, dad, and grandparents with us and we knew, but REALLY knew how much she loved and cared about her animals. This was the best experience we could have had with someone ever.
