I'm Yvonne D., the breeder behind Wandering Tzu located in Lancaster, OH. I am proud to offer my beautiful, incredible Shih Tzu puppies to loving homes! My dogs are very happy, healthy and have great temperaments. I am passionate about raising the best quality Shih Tzu possible. I am so excited to start sharing the joy and excitement of life with a Shih Tzu!

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up around breeding. My mamaw and papaw bred Siamese and Burmese cats. I had hands on experience starting at a young age. I got into breeding Shih Tzu because I absolutely adore the breed and I wanted to be in the fight to help better the breed. There are so many unhealthy and poorly bred Shih Tzu out there and it's diminishing the soundness of the breed itself.What makes your program special?
All my puppies are born in my home and know me from day one. I sit with the mama's while they're in labor and have constant interaction with the pups. I love to keep in contact with puppy families and I am always available to them as a support system. All of my parent dogs have been Embark tested for genetic diseases. The health and happiness of my dogs is the most important part of my program.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tricolor, sable and white, sable, red and tan, lilac, cream and white, chocolate and tan, black and tan, chocolate, black, liver, blue, gold, red, silver, white, liver and white, brindle and white, blue and white, black and white, black gold and silver, gold and white, black gold and white, black white and silver, red and white, silver and white, silver gold and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $3,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, vaccinations and dewormer, a genetic health guarantee, licensed vet checked, microchip, a starter pack with food, toys, treats, blanket and life long support from me. Deposit is non refundable unless something unforeseen happens to the puppy a deposit is placed on.”
