I'm Casey W., the breeder behind Webb’s House of Doberman LLC located in Bargersville, IN. Webb’s House of Doberman is dedicated to preserving the European Doberman Pinscher through health testing, sound temperament, correct conformation, and responsible breeding. In accordance with DPCA recommendations, we do not breed or intentionally produce Z-factor Dobermans.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with the breed. I was disgusted when I got my first Doberman and learned about all the awful breeding practices that have contributed to the dobie living an average of only 9.1 years. I became infatuated with learning more and studying the health and genetics. That led me to realizing we need better breeders to help make the longevity of the breed better but also keep the standard.

  • What makes your program special?

    My program is centered on making the breed better and producing the best Dobermans that I possibly can. I do so much research in dna, pedigrees, mentality, and health testing before selecting a dog that might be a good fit in my program. We complete all health testing that we agree and believe in. We have more than 1 preservation breeder mentors that also only focus on Dobermans. And WE LOVE THEM!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Casey

Casey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Casey partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Our goal is to place every puppy in the home where it will thrive. Puppies are matched based on temperament, energy level, drive, and overall suitability for each family’s lifestyle and goals. Buyer preferences are considered, but final placement decisions are made in the best interest of both the puppy and family.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
