I'm Veronica J., the breeder behind Ween Acres located in Brooksville, FL. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We fell in love with the personality and temperament of our dogs right from the start. Once you’ve owned a Dachshund, you’ll never again want to be without one!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have met amazing people through events and our common love for the breed in general. I lost my heart dog October of 2024. He was a double dapple I rescued, he taught me so much. My love for him sent me on a mission To educate people. Make them understand all those beautiful colors are achievable but also come with great responsibility. The joy that little dog brought into my life will never be replaced but it makes my heart full to see other families bring one of my pups into their lives and spoil them rotten. I want the love I experienced for others. I am blessed with beautiful dogs and it is an honor to be able to share.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are truly in my home. The pups are introduced to puddle pads early on. Handling and socializing is important to me. The more I can prepare the pups for their transition will make it more successful

Getting a puppy from Veronica

Veronica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“At the moment my pups are CKC eligible. AKC will be something available in the future. All my dogs are embarked prior to breeding. All will have health certificates and all other health requirements by 8 weeks of age before they are sent to their new homes. A puppy welcome package is included. This deposit will hold your pup and lock in a guarantee the pup is yours to take home at 8 weeks old. You will get videos and pictures weekly as he/she grows.”

Contract & health guarantee

Veronica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
