Meet the breeder

I'm Ashleigh F., the breeder behind Weenie Babies located in Hertford, NC. Welcome to Weenie Babies! I am a hobby breeder in Eastern NC and want to find homes to love and spoil my puppies as much as I do! I thoroughly enjoy client education at work and will strive to help answer any questions for a new dachshund owner or if you already have a sweet doxie friend as well. All of my puppies will be registered and fully vetted and socialized with dogs, cats, kids, people, everyday household noises.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I did not have a set goal to become a breeder, but once I fell in love with the dachshund breed I wanted to be able to produce healthy, happy, loving puppies for another individual or family to enjoy.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of my puppies will be registered either under AKC or CKC depending on the parents of the litter. I will have every litter fully examined and vetted under the care of my trusted veterinarian. The puppies will be treated as apart of my family up until the time they go home. This means a lot of one-on-one time with me/family/friends to get them socialized and used to normal life (time away from siblings, basics of potty training, nail clipping, etc.)

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashleigh

Ashleigh has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes health guarantee, AKC or CKC registration, full vet exam, vaccines, deworming, prevention, socialization and puppy take home bag. Deposits are required on all puppies regardless of gender and color. This deposit will go towards final cost of puppy at time of pick up.”

Contract & health guarantee

Ashleigh may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
