I'm Denise M., the breeder behind Weenie Wonders Hounds located in Deltona, FL. My dogs are first of all our pets, they live in our home. They are well-bred and I have show and pet homes. Our breeding program is small. We only breed Mini Long Hair Dachshunds that can be AKC registered. They will make excellent pets to the right person.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Throughout the time I've been showing dogs I've met really good people and I have a few mentors who are teaching me the right way of breeding dogs and keeping up the standard of the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    This is my families program. We all are involved in the sport and in the breeding. The puppies are never left alone, they are socialized and potty trained. According to the age they are exposed to different noises, people, and animals. Pups have good health checkups, vaccinations to date, and dewormed before going to their forever homes. I am available to the new owner for advice when needed.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Denise

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes age-appropriate vaccines, socialization, limited AKC registration, and vet health certification. All dogs come with Veterinarian health certificate, vaccinations and warranty replacement if the dog should be unhealthy due to congenital defects.”

Contract & health guarantee

Denise may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
