I'm Rose R., the breeder behind Weinderful Dachshunds located in Delta, CO. I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 23 years. I have a strong passion for animals. I love my dogs and sharing them! I am dedicated to breeding healthy pets and focusing on temperament and companionship. My dogs are my pride and joy and I love getting to share their puppies with others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Since 2 of my children have moved out and started a life of their own, I decided I wanted to start raising long-haired dachshunds. I've been around breeding and thought I would love to breed and try to make the breed better.

  • What makes your program special?

    I have all the resources and unlimited knowledge to take care of my dogs and puppies since I work for a veterinarian.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Rose was incredible to work with and made the adoption process so easy. The work she put in before Lele was dropped off was instrumental and made training so much easier than I expected it to be.
