Meet the breeder

I'm Wendy M., the breeder behind Wendy's Dream Poodles located in Norman, IN. Our experience with our first poodle began our passion to provide for others what our first poodle did for us. I have over 18 years experience in animal husbandry, but there's nothing I've found as wonderful as Poodles! They are a huge part of our family, a blessing I'm so grateful to have experienced!

Q. & A. with Wendy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was previously a breeder of Miniature Schnauzers, German Shepherds, and Rocky Mountain horses. We met our first Toy Poodle 4 years ago and fell in love. Over 2 years planning and preparation went into our breeding program and I'm always looking for ways to improve and excel.
  • What makes your program special?

Our poodles are part of our family. The love, intelligence, and character of our poodles are why we breed. They are genetically tested to ensure healthy pups that will be wonderful companions, as all our dogs are to us.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, red, silver-beige, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Wendy

Wendy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Wendy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We understand that most people want to pick their puppy early; however, I do counsel buyers and recommend temperaments or sizes that will be better suited for them if applicable; such as if your family consists of small children, I recommend a puppy that is not charted to be very small. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The price may vary due to CKC or AKC, color, male or female. Includes registration, worming, first vaccinations, and Vet records. The deposit will hold your puppy for you until he or she is old enough to be homed with you on our agreed upon date.”

Working with Wendy was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end! She is incredibly kind, caring, and knowledgeable, and you can truly tell how much love, time, and attention she puts into each of her dogs and puppies. Throughout the entire process, Wendy was always very responsive, helpful, and willing to answer any questions I had. I never felt like I was just purchasing a puppy from her. I genuinely enjoyed getting to know her and felt completely comfortable and confident that our puppy was coming from someone who had loved and cared for her from the very beginning. We absolutely adore our sweet Layla, and I’m so thankful we found Wendy. I’ve already recommended her to friends and family and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a breeder who truly loves and cares for her dogs.

Wendy was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She really did a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable and confident in her as well knowing she was wanting to place her puppy with the best possible fit. Wendy was so wonderful to communicate with me and share pictures of my puppy and his litter mate and parents too! It’s so wonderful knowing where Colin (my puppy) came from and what his lineage is. Also I have to mention how much I loved being able to see a video of Wendy’s home whelping area and the run for the dogs and spaces. They were all so nice and clean and the dogs were all so happy. Colin is already bright, loving, social and in amazing health. I look forward to adopting another through Wendy in the future!
