I'm Wendy P., the breeder behind Wendy's Shih Tzus located in Mesa, AZ. I’m the breeder behind Shih Tzu Precious Dreams. Our dogs are part of our family, we give them lots of love, and cuddles. Our dogs are bred for health and the sweet personalities that Shih Tzu’s have to offer.
The puppies are family raised with lots of attention. We strive to provide our families with healthy, happy, well socialized family pets.

Why did you start breeding?
After we brought our first Shih Tzu female home and seeing how much joy that she brought us. So what started out breeding for family members turned into other reach out to purchase one of our puppies. In 2006 we started Shih Tzu’s Precious Dreams.
What makes your program special?
We take great pride in breeding healthy happy and well rounded puppies. They get lots of play time and have plenty of room to explore.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black gold and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
