I'm a state licensed Veterinary Technician, and my husband is a Lineman. Together we have been raising registered, health tested, Australian Shepherds since 2012. Skyy is our first home grown keeper pup as Stella is her mom. Skyy has a very laid back personality, loves fetch/frisbee, has medium herding drive, and is a great family dog. Skyy is panel tested with pawprint genetics and OFA hips/elbows good/normal.

About Guinness
Guinness is my heart dog, the perfect farm and family dog. Hes a big teddy bear. Completely content will laying around the house all day, loves to ride in the truck, run with the 4 wheeler, keeps raccoons and other pests away, and is great with kids. In addition to his genetic testing with paw print genetics, he is also OFA hips GOOD and elbows NORMAL.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Intestinal Cobalamin Malabsorption (IGS), Australian Shepherd Type, Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 6 (NCL 6)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
