Wheat Farms Dachshunds

Wheat Farms D.

Breeder of Dachshunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Wheat Farms D., the breeder behind Wheat Farms Dachshunds located in Mount Vernon, AR. We are a small breeding program dedicated to bettering the Dachshund breed. Dachshunds are a powerful, loving, loyal breed, all packed into a tiny body. Our dogs are fully health tested and we are deeply committed to breeding for sound structure, excellent health, and outstanding temperaments.

Q. & A. with Wheat Farms

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always had a passion for raising puppies and after helping a few fellow breeders whelp and raise their litters I decided breeding was a huge passion of mine and that I was going to devote myself to it. I have a strong love for the dachshund breed and I am devoted to bettering the breed through my breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our puppies are raised using the Puppy Culture program to give them the best start in life. As a former professional dog trainer, I bring a strong foundation in early development to our program. We introduce important skills such as potty training, crate training, and confidence-building exercises from an early age, setting our puppies up for a smooth transition into their new homes.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
