I'm Kathy N., the breeder behind WhirlWynd Manchester Terriers located in Central, IA. I am dedicated to this breed, and I am devoted to doing whatever I can to preserve and protect it for future generations. My dogs are healthy, versatile, beautiful, and have the ability to perform the functions for which it was originally bred.
Q. & A. with Kathy
Why did you start breeding?
I understand the very important role that breeders undertake; that today’s breeders are the guardians of the future Manchester Terriers. I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy dogs for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. I want nothing more than to see each of my dogs and puppies shine.
What makes your program special?
I am a firm believer in producing puppies as close to the AKC standard of perfection as possible. Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of the Manchester Terrier. I am very selective with my breeding pairs and devote my time and attention to caring for each litter I produce to ensure each puppy has what it needs to develop into a happy, healthy, and well-socialized dog. If you are looking for the perfect, quality companion, look no further!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The cost of your puppy will be the same whether male or female. I do not ask for a higher price pertaining to gender. The price will include AKC registration paperwork, a pedigree, a health check by my veterinarian, a health guarantee for up to two years, all age appropriate vaccinations, wormings and will include a container of the food I use so you can either purchase the same or use what I send to help transition your puppy to what you will feed. In some cases, such as transporting by air, I will ask that you pay for the flight beforehand and the balance prior to my shipping the puppy to you.”
