Meet the breeder

I'm Casey D., the breeder behind Whiskey Mountain Labradors located in Dayton, TN. I am a veterinarian and breeder of English Labrador Retrievers in Southeastern Tennessee. I strive to produce healthy puppies for companionship and as working dogs . I am a small scale breeder with the hopes of expanding over time. We breed for conformation, health, temperament, and drives such as prey, ball, food, etc.

Q. & A. with Casey

  • Why did you start breeding?

My passion for labradors started when I was a child and had an amazing labrador as my family dog. I have always believed that labradors are the all-around best breed.
  • What makes your program special?

Being a veterinarian, I am able to make sure my puppies and dogs are the healthiest they can be. This means that when a puppy goes home, the family still has a veterinary resource if something should happen. This also means that LOCAL families are able to get free puppy boosters through the practice I am employed at which include: exam, core vaccines, and deworming.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
