Q. & A. with Whiskey River
Why did you start breeding?
We're second-generation Labrador breeders. Parents were breeders and it was a joy to grow up with puppies in the house. We loved hearing how they were making their new families happy.
What makes your program special?
We like to keep in contact. We enjoy taking special photoshoots and send videos whenever the puppies are doing something particularly adorable. We are always here for you; we want this relationship between you and your puppy to be as successful as possible!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We are so excited about our new Labrador Receiver, Haley. She is such a beautiful, happy, well tempered puppy. We can tell that Whiskey Rivers, is an ethical, good breeder just by how healthy and well adjusted Haley is already in our family since she arrived a week and a half ago. We feel we made the right choice.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
