I'm Todd & Ann S., the breeder behind Whisky River Gun Dogs located in Cadott, WI. We are proud to be recognized as a AKC Breeder of Merit, and have been breeding since 2000. We compete in a lot of AKC Field trials, and Todd has placed and titled a number of dogs in the Springer Spaniel AKC field trials. He also has judged a number field trials throughout the country.

What makes your program special?
Whisky River Gun Dogs specializes in training our dogs for obedience, upland hunting, waterfowl hunting, field trials and hunt tests. We have bred and trained some of the best Springer Spaniels in the U.S. and are dedicated in getting the most out of our dogs' natural ability through positive reinforcement.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
