I'm Whisper G., the breeder behind Whisper Gray located in Berry, AL. Kimmelot German shepherds is known best for loving Family protection. Our Dachshunds have fun, loving temperaments and most have natural hunting instinct.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mother Dawn Dalyce was breeding dogs before I was born, I inherited German shepherd dogs from her and Dachshunds from my Stepfather Gene Kimmel. They founded Kimmelot German shepherds in 1992, and Groundhounds Dachshunds in 2000.

  • What makes your program special?

    We have an 8-year Genetic health guarantee. Our care protocols include vaccination, parasite control, and socialization. We are able to temperament match puppies to their new homes. Every puppy sold will have AKC registration, copies of parents health records, a vaccine record, and care packet.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Dachshund puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our German Shepherd puppies have stock coats. Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our German Shepherd puppies are black and tan. Dachshund puppies include chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Whisper

Whisper has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices are decided on by quality first, deposits are taken off the price. Breeding dogs are priced more, as I have extra responsibility. Deposits come off the full price. Deposits are only returnable if a health concern arises, or if we no longer are a good match for the buyer.”

Contract & health guarantee

Whisper may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I met Whisper here in the good dog app. After looking through her profile and all the puppies she had at the time, I decided to message her and look a little deeper and I found how deeply dedicated she was at only bringing the healthiest and best puppies into this world as she could,she calls them family and with that and the best health guarantee you’ll find I decided to be apart of the family and purchase a beautiful little female puppy. That was 6 months ago so my girl is 8 months old now. Her name is Anka and she has been wonderful easy to train picks up on things so quickly, and the best part of all she absolutely loves to be by my side on my lap if she can.Her veterinarian adores her as well everyone in the clinic come running when we hit the door, so she was very easy to socialize. Whisper was great to work with answering any questions I had I put my down payment on Anka at only 3 weeks old and Whisper sent me pictures every week of her.     Whisper Gray was absolutely wonderful. We had the opportunity to Google Meet upon meeting on the app and got to see the puppies and momma.
