I'm Sarah K., the breeder behind White Sage Kennel located in East Lansing, MI. Our dam, Sage, is a great Border Collie. She is eager to please - she learned to keep chickens from the garden and to ring a bell to go outside in a day - and wants to be busy all day long. But, when the sun goes down she becomes a snuggle bug lap dog. She loves her family and is easy to live with.

About Sage
Sage has a high work drive. She wants to be active all day long. She is more motivated by pleasing people than food and is very focused on each member of the family. She keeps our chickens out of the garden and the cats herded just where she wants them. Then, when the sun goes down Sage because a complete lap dog. She wants nothing more than to curl up on the couch next to someone. Sage is an attentive mother. She places herself between the puppies and any dangers, such as cars on the road, and guards them carefully. She cleans each puppy thoroughly and seems to take her job very seriously. She is a loving companion and does best when she has lots of time with her people each day.
