I'm Coleen S., the breeder behind White Sands Shih Tzu's located in Doña Ana County, NM. We strive to raise and train our Shih Tzus Prior to to them going to their beloved family members. We cherish Our babies. We do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That include everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments to proper socialization.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up with a variety of different animals. My mom bred everything from chickens to dogs to horses. I loved assisting & learning. Shih Tzus were one of my favorite. ... I now have pet grandbabies. We now enjoy Dog Shows with our Tzus.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are small in home breeders. We are retired and have time to love on our babies. We strive to improve our program. We make sure all our adults are embark tested and vetted. Please ask about our discounts via email, text or phone call.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $4,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Mention where you found our ad & ask about our discounts. The deposit is put toward the amount of a puppy along with a contract and holds the puppy for you. If you decide not to take the pup you reserved, the amount can be placed on a new puppy or used for the holding period.”

    I have loved having Sully BamBam home for the past 3 weeks. He has such a cuddle bug personality with me. White Sands Shih Tzu’s was very friendly and professional and allowed us more than enough time in her home with the puppies so we could get comfortable with the puppy and they could as well. She was very informative and offered ongoing communication whenever needed regarding Sully’s needs as he grows.
