Whitehall Collies

Kristy M.

Breeder of Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Kristy M., the breeder behind Whitehall Collies located in Dacula, GA. Collies are the best-kept secret in purebred dogs! Fabulous with children & pets. Our foundation dog’s pedigree is displayed in our kitchen going back to 1912 when the Collie was imported to America. We’re very proud of Whitehall Collies, who now live in loving homes from California to New York.

Q. & A. with Kristy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bred our Shar Pei in 1984 as a family project and loved the experience. Our first Collie won Best In Match in his first puppy show and I became hooked. My collie friends are wonderful and very supportive and helpful. I received top-notch mentoring from some of CCA’s top breeders and we have produced beautiful healthy Collies from the start.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our Collies are house dogs - we don't use kennel runs. We have a wooded acre fenced with 2 doggie doors into the house, so they are free to run and play. I formulate custom raw diets for our adults. We keep in touch with puppy buyers and many have become good friends and I remain available to all of them for questions or advice. I'd be honored to connect with you!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
