Why did you start breeding?
Our dogs were bred as we were inspired by our female Millie, whose personality is outstanding. She is a loyal companion who is able to follow commands and learn new tricks and commands swiftly. With inspiration from her, we wanted every family to have what Millie give us as a companion and true retriever. All of our adult dogs and puppies are bred in the home and kept in the home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Dilute Retriever puppies include silver, charcoal, yellow, black, chocolate, fox red, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Mariah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $1,200 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes a $300 deposit. All colors are $1,500 for limited registration and $3000 full registration. Price includes AKC registration, microchip, vet visit, 1st vaccines and a 2 year health guarantee. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, Deposits are only refundable if the puppy passes away and there is no current litter in which the fee can be transferred.”

Mariah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Willow
Amber Sky Willow of Backlands, Willow, is a well-bred English type yellow female Labrador that has a pedigree lineage that contains American Kennel Club Champions, Master Hunters, and Dual AKC Confirmation Champions and Master Hunters. She has thick bone in her build and her front, a straight topline, and a nice square English head with a femine finish. Willow has what we refer to as a traditional yellow coloring with nice black pigment. She has a great personality and can be silly at times rolling over on her back frequently for a belly rub. She is an excellent retriever on land and in water. Willow weighs between 75 and 80 pounds and has an athletic English build. Willow is sired by Rep (Am. Ch. Hiddensprings Representative Claybar MH) and whelped by Sage (HRCH Backlands Poppyfield Sage). Rep is a strong English type Labrador that has earned both an American Kennel Club Conformation Championship and Master Hunter Title. There have been less that 100 Labradors in breed history that have earned both titles. Sage is an English type female Labrador that has also earned several hunting titles with the American Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club. We are excited for the type, temperament, and working ability of the pups that Willow will produce at Wicked Pines Retrievers
