I'm James & Barbora K., the breeder behind Wiggles 4 Life located in Hartsville, SC. We are breeders of top-quality AKC Border Collies. Our dogs are bred for their amazing health, intelligence, and temperament with foundations that nurture curiosity, drive, and obedience.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As we learned more about responsible breeding practices, I wanted to do my part to produce healthy, well-bred puppies. We have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. We wanted to put our passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    When we bring a life into the world, we make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. We set our puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, ability, and athleticism. Our goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies. We have high expectations for the puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include slate merle, blue merle, red merle, blue, lilac, red, sable, sable merle, white and blue, white and blue merle, white and red, white and red merle, and slate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from James & Barbora

James & Barbora has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Included with your puppy: AKC registration, deworming, socialization, beginning training (sit and shake), a health exam, microchip, Lifetime enrollment with AKC Reunite, and vaccinations at 8 weeks. This is a non-refundable deposit for the reservation of a puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     We are over the Moon happy with our experience getting a Border Collie Puppy through Wiggles 4 Life. James & Barbora the owners, were so nice & so helpful! They made everything really easy. They’re very knowledgeable & had steps in place for a smooth transition. They’re even Delivered our Puppy. Which we loved because we knew he would be in good hands on the ride.. One of the things I really loved about the experience was that they provide a “Puppy Cam” to look in on them. We bought our Puppy about a month before he was ready to go.. The Puppy Cam gave us a look into his sweet little life.. We got to see how he was with his Littermates & get a peek into his personality & prepare for it a little.. I didn’t realize how much I would like that.. It was unbelievably helpful.. The Puppies are very well cared for at their Home in South Carolina.. They kept them clean, fed, we saw Momma go back n forth spending time with them & caring for them.. Our Puppy is very smart, alert & pretty close to perfect.. They have an incredible “Puppy Playground” they set up.. Lots of good stimulation for learning. They were given frequent outdoor time.. Unless the weather was bad… It was a really great experience! I felt our Puppy was very well taken care of & they Love them ALL & treated really good. I would Absolutely use Wiggles4Life again.. & I Highly recommend them..
